Estamos acostumbrados a un bombardeo de fuentes (tipografías). Detrás de ellas, hay verdaderos maestros del diseño. No es tan fácil que una tipografía entera -con sus muchos caracteres y símbolos- sea limpia y concuerde perfectamente, sin ningún tipo de distorsiones. Dave Cohen (AKA SQUID) is one of the premier designer/sculptors in the weird and wonderful world of TIKI. Since 1999, SQUID has been surfing atop the Tiki revival wave, creating traditional and way-out Tiki mugs as well as jewelry and ephemera. He also works in collaboration with other top-notch artists such as SHAG, Von Franco, Derek Yaniger, The Pizz and Gary baseman to drag their 2-D madness into the 3-D world kickin' and screamin'!
